ASSIGNMENT | Briefly explain the campaign and provide links to digital resources if available.

Whereas the Theory of Reasoned Action explains behavior change as the result of a person\’s intention to perform the behavior, Social Cognitive Theory (SCT) is based on the belief that if one has the skills and abilities to perform the behavior–as well as the motivation to make the behavior change he/she will.
One of the ways in which social cognitive theory is used is education entertainment programs, which are programs designed to educate (and often to motivate behavioral change, adoption, or learning) while they entertain – think, for example, about the ways in which a show like Sesame Street entertains children while still educating them and also encouraging them to learn and adopt pro-social behaviors. Entertainment education programs have also been very popular internationally.
Can you think of a campaign either rooted in education entertainment or not, that uses SCT to try to affect behavior change?
In a paragraph:
Briefly explain the campaign and provide links to digital resources if available. Evaluate how well you think the campaign used SCT to enact behavior change. What effect do you think this had on the end result of the campaign? If you were going to recreate the campaign what would you do differently?

In your second paragraph explain what you know about various crisis management strategies, provide an example of a recent crisis and the strategy used.

SCT is also used in this campaign to enhance the participants’ problem-solving and decision-making skills to allow the infected people to make rational choices with regard to behavior and disclosure. The use of SCT has helped the program in reducing sexual risk behaviors of individuals living with HIV (Rural Health Information Hub, n. d.). Although the campaign has been a success…
