Why, according to the principle of equality must one show that there are real differences rather than just surmise that they exist?

According to the principle of equality, human beings have equal basic moral status. As such, humans possess matching fundamental rights and thus the comparable interest of each individual should be same in the determinacy of the social policy (Abrams, Houston, Van de Vyver & Vasiljevic, 2015).
