I. Introduction
Slavery emanated from the desires of the white settlers to thrive economically in the early 17th century. They invested on migrating the laborers from different regions of the world in order to have diverse kills and expertise. The system meant to benefit the white settlers by helping them increase farm output at a low cost. Besides, the practice did not end overnight because slavery was caused by the need to improve economic needs of white settlers, which was a long-term course.
