Mission and Vision
The mission of the organization is to discover how the environment affects people as a way of promoting healthier lives. The vision on the other hand is that the agency is committed to providing global leadership in promoting innovative research aiming at improving public health by alleviating disease and disability (NIEHS, 2012).
