Activity #10 – International Education Week

International Education Week is usually in November – it’s the time to learn more about global opportunities and celebrate what makes this world so diverse (and interesting!). For this activity, you will explore more about teaching and studying abroad – whether it’s international students studying in America or vice versa.

1. In your own words, explain the purpose of International Education Week.

• Choose a program that is supported by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs that sounds interesting to you. In your own words, what is this program’s purpose? Why is this program interesting to you?

4. Locate a nonprofit organization that works in a country other than the United States.
