In my previous sales representative position, I had to present a sales report to my supervisor once per week. However, at times, my supervisor gave limited or no feedback at all. This behavior affected my morale and made it difficult to meet his expectations. The situation led to a prolonged conflict as we misunderstood each other’s expectations. After two months of continuous disagreements, my supervisor invited me for a meeting in his office in an attempt to find a permanent solution to our conflict. After a lengthy discussion, we resolved to use compromise as a conflict resolution mechanism.
