Each unit (i.e., units II through VIII) contains a scenario for you to solve and to provide recommendations.

The end of this course, you are required to collect all of the individual responses from each scenario and to insert them into a Comprehensive Report.

The Final Project (Comprehensive Report) requires each of the following:
Title page (APA format)

1. Executive Summary (summarize the entire report by briefly identifying the main points of each report)

2. Table of Contents
3. Each of the individual reports (with any necessary corrections/improvements)
4. Each appendix from the different reports (with any corrections needed/improvements)

The purpose of this project and its constituent reports is to provide you with an opportunity to gather data, calculate data, make recommendations, and prepare reports as an advanced safety professional.

Please make corrections within your Comprehensive Report please see professors comments receive when graded see attachment.

Prepare your report in a word-processing application (i.e., Word) using APA formatting for all references and in-text citations.

This is the professor’s comment for each unit please to make all corrections before final summary (make all necessary corrections/improvements to each of the units listed below)

Unit two
Wayne (do not indent the abstract; this is not the properly formatted APA styled template I provided you, to include the appendix as a level 1 heading in the body), we are going to do this type of work every week, for all eight weeks. This was good work, overall. I checked to ensure that you used the provided APA-styled template in your work, stayed in Times New Roman 12pt font for everything for APA style, used your book to inform your work as instructed, used all previous assessment grading feedback and writing style instructions, provided detailed (not generic) recommendations (such as the need to increase the duct size or move the duct closer to the welding), cited to Citation Guidelines and Referenced use Yates\’ (2015) book and other (scholarly) sources to appropriately, cited to defend your work in every instance of stating fact and making suggestions, and did the supporting calculations (and for all unknown values) that included the TWA, PEL, capture velocity for a plain opening hood, and summing the hazmat storage area to demonstrate it was over 12 changes per hour (showing all of your typed calculations [not hand-scratched] in the appendix as I laid out for you in the template, with narrative in each level 1 section). Please read the grading rubric with your assessed score that you earned this week, for each of these areas of consideration.

Unit three
Wayne, I checked again this week to ensure that you used the provided APA-styled template in your work, used all previous grading feedback and writing style instructions, provided detailed (not generic) recommendations, cited to for APA style, cited to defend your work in every instance of stating fact and making suggestions (to include time, distance, and shielding), and do the supporting calculations (in the appendix as I laid out for you in the template, with narrative in each level 1 section).

Unit four
Wayne, we just keep pushing along, here. This week, I again verified your use of the provided APA-styled template in your work, the use of Yates\’ (2015) book to inform your work as instructed, your use of all previous assessment grading feedback and writing style instructions, detailed recommendations using engineering controls (not just administrative controls like training or PPE), and your citing and referencing to APA style (including Times New Roman 12pt font for the entire document) with the correct citation guide. Finally, I wanted to see that you did the supporting calculations in the appendix (included solving for D for the machine shop and leaving only the narrative and calculated values determined in each level 1 section). Please read the grading rubric with your assessed grade.

Unit five
Wayne, (remove all redundant headings and use the ones I provided in the template as level 1 headings), this was good. Again, I checked to ensure that you used the provided APA-styled template in your work, used all previous grading feedback and writing style instructions, used your book to inform all of your work in every section, cited and referenced to APA style, cited to defend your work in every instance of stating fact and making suggestions (I wanted to see that you provided them a heater/AC unit as an engineering control rather than just adding more PPE and administrative controls), and did the supporting calculations.

Unit six
Wayne, I know this is tough to keep doing this every week. Hang in there with me. I checked to see that you continued to use the provided APA-styled template in your work without alterations, cited and referenced to APA style, used all previous grading feedback and writing style instructions, cited to defend your work in every instance of stating fact and making suggestions that actually work for the presented scenario, and did the supporting calculations (using Chapter 16 examples) within the Appendix level 1 heading that I provided.

Unit seven
Wayne, this was a good job, overall. I was looking to see that you did the required math to demonstrate four (4) total extinguishers that were needed, as well as to determine the sprinkler system type properly. Please be diligent in cleaning everything up with the Writing Style Instructions, CSU Citation Guide, and all previous grading feedback before you put everything together in Unit 8.
