In preparation for the Research Paper, you will create an Annotated Bibliography that presents your primary and secondary sources. Choose one of the Research Paper topic options or choose your own (see Research Paper Guidelines). Use the EFSC library databases to search for articles, interviews, documentaries, etc. on the topic/subject.
Your Annotated Bibliography needs to present one text from our textbook, along with at least 3 secondary sources from the EFSC library that relate/support the research topic. Each annotation needs to be at least 200 words. The entire Annotated Bibliography needs to be a minimum of three pages. Use Times New Roman, 12 pt. font, double-spacing. Annotated Bibliography: Your Argument
For this assignment, you will write a minimum of four \”annotations\” (one for each source). Start with the source citation, followed by 2-3 paragraphs summarizing, evaluating, and reflecting. Summarize the main idea and key points. What are the main findings of the article? What information is presented? Evaluate the source by looking for information on the author and publication (i.e. magazine, journal, newspaper, etc.). Evaluate the reliability by examining the evidence used (i.e. what sources does the author reference?) Reflect on how the source will be helpful to you. How will the article/chapter/video help you learn more about your topic? How will you use the evidence in your argument?

What does an annotated bibliography look like?*
An annotated bibliography starts with the bibliographic details of a source (the citation) followed by a brief annotation.
As with a normal reference list or bibliography, an annotated bibliography is usually arranged alphabetically per the author’s last name. The minimum required length for this assignment is 3 full pages. Annotations must be a minimum of 200 words.
